Alcatel OmniPCX Office R3 upgrade software due April 2004
New features include
• ACD Package – Automatic Call Distribution. This software will allow more effective distribution of calls through Call Centre management. This feature also includes Call Queuing.
• A new miniature OmniPCX system for up to 12 users. This is an ideal system for a smaller site with BIG requirements and functionality. It is also ideal for the smaller “branch office”.

Alcatel New Interactive Handsets due 3rd Quarter 2004
New features include
• “Bluetooth” Handsets. No need for “curly cords”. The handsets connect to the telephone via the wireless technology. This also means the telephones can be used in conjunction with any other “Bluetooth” headsets.
• Multi coloured large interactive screen to interface with programmable keys.
• Available as conventional telephones or as IP telephones.
