Least Cost Routing (LCR) - ECS Communications

ECS can program your telephone system to automatically route your outgoing calls via our network services offering savings of up to 50% compared to BT rates.


	Carrier Pre-Select or CPS instructs BT to route calls via ECS’s network directly from the BT exchange without the need to program an access code.		If you have staff that work from home ECS can allow them to make calls at the same discounted rate that your office calls enjoy and the calls that they make will be billed on the monthly invoice to your head office and itemised separately so that you can monitor usage.

Otherwise referred to as NTS (Number Translation Services) or marketing numbers.

NGN are available from ECS with 0800, 0845 and 0870 prefixes and the NGN can be pointed at any existing telephone number or DDI number so that either the existing telephone number or the NGN can be dialled.

With ECS’s intelligent networks an NGN may simply be delivered to a single existing telephone number or it can be routed to different destinations or departments at different times of the day, or at weekends or callers can select the department they require by pressing buttons on their keypad.
If you have offices or stores in different parts of the country calls can be routed to the nearest office automatically based on the originating telephone number

0800 numbers are free of charge to the caller making them the ultimate marketing or customer service tool as the company receiving the call pays for the cost of the call.

If you already have an 0800 number from BT, ECS can take the number over and reduce the cost of receiving the calls by 50% or more.

0845 numbers split the cost of the call between the caller and the company receiving the call with the caller paying the cost of a local call regardless of where they are dialling from.

Existing BT 0845 numbers can also be taken over by ECS at lower rates.

0870 numbers are free of charge for the company receiving the call with the caller paying BT National call rate regardless of where they are dialling from.

If a high number of incoming calls are expected on an 0870 number we can also pay you a rebate for every minute that the 0870 is used for which can generate extra income for your company.

We can deal with BT on your behalf to install lines, move lines, convert lines to ISDN etc… and can order and project manage the installation of lines, leased lines and ADSL.

If you currently use lines from a cable provider we have solutions that enable us to replace those lines with BT lines without charge.
